Harpenden Town Council have launched a survey seeking the views of people aged 13-19 in the town on how they can improve the ways in which they engage with younger people. The Town Council's survey can be filled in here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/X8JRHXD.

Cllr Matt Cowley, who chairs the Town Council's Youth Engagement Working Group, said, "Since I was first elected in May 2019, I have been working with colleagues to try to improve the ways in which we engage with younger people at the Town Council. We set up the Youth Engagement Working Group earlier this year and our discussions have begun to make some positive strides towards formalising and strengthening our structures for youth engagement. This survey will help to guide our thinking on how and where we can get young people involved in the work of the Town Council and I look forward to using the results to continue to improve our Youth Engagement Strategy."
